If you are an Easterfest regular and think you already know how everything works you need to at least read this page to get your head around what will be different in 2010.

 

EASTERFEST + EASTERFEST CITY

For the first time the festival in Queens Park will run alongside the new Easterfest City initiative which will include some things you know & love like the Street Festival, Easter Praise at the Empire Theatre and church services all over town.  We also have plenty of new plans to take over Toowoomba CBD so to get the lowdown on all of that head over to the Easterfest City website and make sure you are in the know. TICKET CHANGES

With so much happening throughout the city, and most of it for free, the Queens Park site will be completely ticketed in 2010 - that means you will NOT be able to gain access to any part of the Queens Park festival site without either a one day or three day armband.

The only exceptions to this will be the two non-ticketed church services in the Big Top on Sunday morning and at Mainstage on Sunday night, access to both of these events for non-ticket holders will be via direct entries from the street.

Removing the confusion over ticketed & non-ticketed areas in Queens Park has allowed us to work some fresh magic into the layout of the site so come prepared for an even more amazing vibe than ever before, and without giving too much away even finding Mainstage for the first time in 2010 will be an adventure.

 

BOX OFFICE

When you come to purchase your ticket or swap it for an armband at the festival we don't want you to end up standing out the front of the Entry Pavilion gazing forlornly at where the Box Office used to be so come straight inside & you will find the new 2010 Box Office more sheltered from the weather than ever before.

 

NEW VENUES

New venues will not be in short supply at Easterfest 2010 with the massive Red Frogs Circus housing all the normal Red Frogs craziness and more plus the new Arena which will host much of this year's speaker line-up and some feature acoustic shows in the evenings.

 

HEADLINE ARTIST INTERVIEWS

In the past only those lucky enough to be wearing Media passes have been able to listen in on the press conferences and interviews with our headline artists but this year they will be also be held in the new Arena venue for all to attend.
